Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy is issued by Nights and Weekends PVT LTD("Company"), which operates the StayGo platform ("StayGo", "we", "us", or "our"). StayGo is the business name under which Nights and Weekends PVT LTD provides daily-rent marketplace and property management services in the Republic of the Maldives. Our registered address is Nanreethige, AA. Thoddoo, Maldives. It applies to your use of www.staygomv.com (the "Platform"), including the public marketplace and the owner/staff/admin portal.

StayGo serves three groups of people:

• Marketplace visitors — guests who browse listings without creating an account.
• Portal users — property owners, their staff, and platform administrators who sign in to manage bookings, listings, and payments.
• Guests whose details are entered by owners — people whose name and phone number are recorded by an owner or staff member when a booking is created. Guests do not sign up directly on StayGo.

Marketplace visitors (anonymous): We assign an anonymous session identifier stored in your browser (localStorage) to measure aggregate engagement — for example, page visits, map views, listing views, and contact-button clicks. We do not collect your name, email, or phone number when you browse the marketplace.

Portal users: When you are onboarded or sign in, we collect your email address, password (stored in hashed form by our authentication provider), display name, role (owner, staff, or admin), and, for staff, a link to your employer owner. We also record account timestamps and password-reset metadata.

Guest booking data (entered by owners/staff): Guest name, Maldives phone number, stay dates, booking status, payment amount and method (cash or bank transfer), and transfer receipt images when applicable.

Listing and property data: Property name, address, GPS coordinates, contact phone number (shown publicly on listings), photos, room details, amenities, and property descriptions.

Owner subscription and billing: Subscription payment amounts, dates, payment method, reference numbers, and receipt images uploaded by administrators.

What we do not collect: We do not collect guest email addresses, government ID or passport documents, credit or debit card numbers, or in-app chat messages. Guest stay payments are handled directly between the guest and the property owner (cash or bank transfer), not through an online payment gateway on StayGo.

• Operate the marketplace and display published listings.
• Enable owners and staff to manage bookings, rooms, and guest payment records.
• Process and track owner platform subscriptions and access to the portal.
• Measure anonymous marketplace engagement to improve the service.
• Maintain security, prevent misuse, and keep audit logs of significant admin actions.
• Communicate with portal users (for example, password reset emails).

We process portal user data to perform our contract with property owners and staff. We process anonymous analytics and security logs based on our legitimate interest in operating and improving the Platform. Guest contact data entered by owners is processed on behalf of the property owner to manage genuine bookings; owners are responsible for having a lawful basis to enter that information.

Public listings: Information you publish as an owner — including property name, location, photos, and contact phone number — is visible to anyone who visits the marketplace.

Service providers: We use third-party infrastructure to run the Platform, including Supabase (database, authentication, and file storage) and Vercel (hosting). When you tap WhatsApp or Call on a listing, you leave StayGo and interact with those services directly.

Legal requests: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or a valid request from Maldivian authorities.

We do not sell personal information to third parties.

StayGo is based in the Maldives, but some service providers may process data in data centres outside the Maldives. We take reasonable steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place with our processors.

• Authentication cookies — keep portal users signed in (essential).
• Admin scope cookie — remembers which owner an admin is viewing (essential for multi-tenant admin use).
• Anonymous analytics session — stored in localStorage to count marketplace visits without identifying you.
• Filter snapshots — stored in sessionStorage to preserve marketplace search preferences during your visit.

We do not use third-party advertising or analytics trackers (such as Google Analytics).

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Platform, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes. Booking records, payment receipts, and subscription ledgers are kept for the duration of the owner relationship and for a reasonable period thereafter. Anonymous analytics events may be retained in aggregated form.

We use industry-standard measures including role-based access control, database row-level security, hashed passwords, private storage for payment receipt images (accessed via signed URLs), and audit logging for significant admin actions. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Portal users may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their account data by contacting us at dev@nightsandweekends.dev. Guests who did not create an account may contact the property owner directly, or email us at dev@nightsandweekends.dev with the property name and dates of stay so we can assist with correction or deletion requests.

StayGo is a business platform directed at property owners and adult guests. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the effective date above. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
